Registration

How do I make a payment?

Secretariat will be in contact with you as soon as verifying the completion of the above form. WUMUNS utilizes CashNet, an online payment platform, as our preferred method to process fees. We will contact you with the link to the platform as soon as we confirm your registration. Please note that we can accept payment via check; however, we do discourage this for ease of transaction. Please contact Secretariat for more information regarding checks.

When are my payments due?

Payments are due by the end of the registration period in which you registered. If you are unable to pay by the end of that period, the per-delegate rate will increase to the rate for the next registration period. Reminders are sent out by Secretariat throughout each registration period.

What is included in the registration fees?

WUMUNS provides two complimentary meals (Friday dinner and Saturday lunch). Notebooks and pens will be provided for each delegate. Any social event that occurs for delegates is also covered under the registration fees. Lastly, if you will be staying at our partner hotel, transportation is available at select times during the weekend. Please refer to our hotel & transportation page for more information.

Can I make changes to my delegation size after I’ve registered and/or made a payment?

Yes, you may make adjustments to delegation sizes. Delegate fees are refundable up to October 1st, 11:59 PM CST. You may add additional delegates up to October 9th, 11:59 PM CST, as long as space allows. Please reach out to the Secretariat if you need to make adjustments to your delegation.

Is there parking available on campus or at the hotel?

Complimentary parking is available at both the hotel and on campus for standard vehicles. WashU’s visitor parking is free of charge beginning at 5 PM on Fridays through the rest of the weekend. If you plan to bring any vehicle larger than a car, please contact Secretariat to make appropriate arrangements for picking up and dropping off delegates.

I’m an international student or delegation. Can I participate?

At this time, unfortunately, WUMUNS does not support international participation.

Are position papers required?

To be eligible for an award, WUMUNS requires delegates to submit a position paper. Position papers are due at the beginning of each committee session, and submission forms will become available in early October. Please refer to our substantive guidelines for more information about the guidelines for position papers.

How can I or my delegates prepare?

Please take a look at our resources tab to find information about our code of conduct, substantive guidelines, and parliamentary procedure. We also provide two trainings for new delegates at the start of the conference.

When will I receive my committee assignment?

Position preference requests typically go out in early September and are finalized by mid-September. As long as WUMUNS receives your delegation’s registration payment before then, you will be eligible to receive your positions. If you register during late registration, you will receive the committee preference form and then your assignments after all necessary payments are received.
