You never thought you would see such a horrific sight, but you watch as the great dome of the U.S. Capitol Building caves in, succumbing to the flames that have already engulfed the rest of the structure.
After a planted bomb kills almost the entirety of the U.S. government, including the President, Vice President, Senate, House of Representatives, Cabinet, and the Supreme Court, during a State of the Union Address, the surviving members of the U.S. government must gather to discuss their next steps. Slowly and cautiously, the designated survivors of this unimaginable tragedy begin to assemble.
Survivors, including the Secretary of Transportation, a Supreme Court justice, the First Spouse, members of the House of Representatives, and others who have to decide where their country will go next. With unrest spiraling, global economic instability spreading, and dozens of potential culprits emerging—more enemies cropping up by the day—the fate of the world rests on these survivors’ shoulders. Will they stabilize global markets or weaponize the U.S.’ economic reserves? Seek retribution or rebuild at home? Invoke NATO or attack unilaterally?
What will you do when the world’s hegemon quite literally lies in ashes?
